In order to make safety a priority, it is essential that workers have the training they need in order to carry out works with the minimum of risk. Work at Height Regulations 5 and 6 (5)(b) of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 state that the duty holder must “ensure that everyone involved in the work is competent (or, if being trained, is supervised by a competent person).”
